My rack is 11 1/2” long and 7” from the base to the top. Longer knives will need to be at an angle to be held securely. Knives can be held on each side of the upright. I have 5 long knives and 5 paring knives on my rack with room for more.
It holds my Global knives, my steel among other items pretty securely.
The magnet is strong enough to hold large chefs knives and cleavers. It will hold knives on both side. Mine is holding : 1 cleaver, 1 kitchen scissors, 2 chefs knives, and a variety of smaller blades. It’s holding about 8 knives.
4.5 in. I absolutely love this. It takes up minimal room on my counter. My Cutco knives love it. Their blocks were very expensive and didn’t have slots for all my knives.
All of my knives fit nicely into this wooden block- the slots for the knives are spaced well so I can access my knives easily. The slots for my longer knives are perfect so you don’t have to worry about the knives scratching the countertop.
I pretty much have most of my knives in here... some of them are put in slots just wherever they fit.. at the bottom where the slots are suppose to be for steak knives - i use those for all the little paring type knives. I have long carving/bread knife/ chef's knives - japanese type knives.. for the inventory of knives I have= this block worked. You should check the width of the blades on your knives before buying a block to see if there are enough "wide slots" if you have japanese knives. the block is fine and I wanted bamboo. I have this block in a countertop cabinet so it can be closed away.. fits fine - I just open the door and grab a knife.
Yes they will fit. There are slots for 6 steak knives.
About half an inch. I also have stainless steel steak knives and they fit without touching each other.
All of my knives are Wusthof and they all fit in this storage block. Hope this helps.
Thanks for your question. Yes, you can compare with you knives with the 2nd pic, it has shown the real size of the product.
Thanks for your question. 5 wide slot + 1 round hole + 1 square space, you can put your knives as you wish.
It really depends on what type of knives are being stored, and how much crowding you can tolerate. It could hold a lot of smaller knives; maybe a dozen. It will fit 8 larger knives without too much crowding.
Perfect for kitchen knives. No holes to match a knife to. Just slide your knives into the protective sleeves.
No......we've put some pretty large knives in ours and they hold them nicely
Fine so far i have serrated steak knives and a bread knife
