I use this on my camping trailer and my truck. I haven't had any problems with the carabiners.
I will defer to the manufacturer as to whether it will fit your truck, as for the cover itself I am very pleased with it.
Just a bunch of simple clamps that you screw down against the bed rails. Had mine for three months and no issues. It's easy to install. I've removed it and reinstalled a few times (loading up beds with brush) and it's as easy as it gets. I have a Ford drop in liner on a 2017 supercrew (5'1/2 foot bed) and there were no issues with fit or anything like that. Put it on the bed, clamp the side closest to the cab down and then unfold and clamp the back. Done.
Quite pleased with this bed cover. It was delivered quickly. It was obviously lightweight and therefore easy to install; in fact it was incredibly easy to install. I had to re-read the instructions just to make sure I got it all correct (because it was so easy). One person can do it without tools..…
It will fit a 5 1/2 long truck bed which is the ford standard shortbed and it will keep the rain out pretty good.
It fits perfect on my 2017. Same truck
This was a super wonderful gift that I purchased for my husband for Christmas in 2017 and it has stood up to what the manufacturer said that it would. I'm glad that I purchased this cover for the bed of my husband's Colorado 2017. I don't believe anyone would go wrong with making this purchase.
No, it completely covers the bed.
Seems to be when I wash my truck.
Yes it covers top edges of truck bed & is secure. Doesn't flap at any speed.
As long as you still have access under the side rails inside the truck bed for the clamps it will secure and work fine.
I have the factory liner in my truck with the bed caps and the cover works perfectly fine!
Yes, I have a plastic bed liner and it works great. It’s a little tight to get on at first but I installed the whole thing in about 20 mins.
I have a 2017 F150 FX4... I don’t believe Ford changed anything on bed size so it should fit... I do not have a bed liner in my truck yet so I just have the plastic covers on the tailgate and rails... however there is no drilling or anything to install this... it has 6 C style clamps 3 for each side that clamp to the cover rail and go under the rail... also I have the super crew short bed... make sure you measure and buy the right size... it looks great and easy to adjust to tighten up when u install it... hope this helps
My truck has a bed liner and it fit with no issues
