Yes, this cuts easily and can be used on two different sets of stairs.
Yes, I really believe it will help. I have never had a prob;em of it not adhering to the carpet.
I've not used the runners that way, but I imagine that, if you cut them on an angle (which is easy to do), you could position the pieces in such a way that would cover the area. Depending on the angle and depth of stairs, you may need a couple of runners. Good luck!
Amazon customers LOVE our highly rated non slip carpet and floor protectors. They are easily machine washable, coming out "good as new" after every wash. Customers often use our product to protect carpeted stairs from paw prints and claws. However, without knowing the how long the claws of the German Shepherd are (and they are usually large dogs) we can't confirm that it will 100% solve this issue. However, we know it can't hurt the problem - it will likely help.
Thank you for your interest. This product should not be used on carpeted stairs.
…They are stiff when they first arrive but no worries...they get worn in and molded to the stair fairly quickly. Mine do not slip off unless you drag your feet on the stair.…I would highly recommend these to protect carpeting/wear on your stairs.
Thank you for reaching out. You are correct that each set includes 2 pieces of stair treads. In order to cover 20 steps, 10 packs (or sets) will be needed. If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to ask. - Bergeson Park
No need to cut... or at least for a normal size stair...also you will need to put a nail on the top corners to keep in place ...does the job of protecting carpet and the nails you really don't see.
Back when I originally bought these stair tread‘s I received what you saw in the picture. I received a stair tread‘s that gripped and held on to the step and I treasure them. They were safe and they did the job. I moved from the home I left them behind to the new owner. I try to find these again and every seller that I’ve ordered them from since the original order is using the photograph showing the stair treads with the grips. After I ordered the stair tread‘s from several other sellers I received a flat flimsy slippery dangerous stair tread which I then returned. It seems the original seller I purchase them from that had the correct picture with the correct item no longer is selling them. So I would advise anytime you wanna buy these ask many questions before you place the order because I repeatedly received incorrect items that had to go back to the seller. You’d be lucky if you got the one that was in the photograph. And if you do get the one that’s in the photograph could you please let me know because I need 13 of them.

Yes, you can use stair treads on the tile. Backing made of non-slip rubber.
I covered 14 stairs with a little left over. Put padding on each stair overlapping the front of the step. This is probably the best buy I ever made.
This covered my thirteen stairs with two feet to spare. Worked perfectly
Absolutely. I have one on my carpeted stairs and it is perfect.
It all depends on the length of your stair case. This stair runner is so beautiful.
I had a hard time imagine what non-adhesive stair treads would look like and I was scared off of adhesives due to reviews for those products claiming damage to their wood, so I gave these a shot and was really impressed. Our stairs are a light colored wood grain so the light grey pairs really well against it and our white walls.…
This stair treads is non-slip.
Yes you could use it for noise control. They are thin but still eliminate the sound of shoes clacking on the stairs. I bought them because my old dog was falling on the stairs. They work perfectly for that. They are movable without any sticky glue or residue.
Of course,you can cut it.
