Not completely familiar with the other… Reverse charades! I bought it and personally, have not played. However, this has three different ways to answer questions… One of them been acting out! My family LOVES this game and the swap of different talents, make it a game that all can find their nichè..!! My youngest being 16 years old, doesn’t fill his acting charade skills are at the capacity of adult his siblings, this is great to have the drawing options etc-
Bought this game to take to Thanksgiving this year along with other games. And this was the favorite. Got lots of laughs. My 92 year old grandma was able to partake as well!
This game was great!! it was delivered quickly and the game packaging is great for the parts included. It was so much fun for hours and you can easily adjust the playtime by using more or less cards. You can also make it more challenging (and hysterical) by mixing up the card categories. Highly recommend.…
We played this for the first time tonight with some friends, including a 9-year-old boy. It's a bit like Taboo and Charades but with an extra round thrown into the middle - describe the word using a single word. I've never been a huge fan of Charades because I don't like to feel like I'm making a fool of myself, but this was so fun! (It really helps that you know what the words are from the previous rounds.) We've never played games with these particular friends before, but everyone was cracking up and having a blast.…

This game is fantastic as a party game, anywhere from 4 to 20 players, we have played multiple times over the holidays and it continues to be one of our favorites. Our family GAMES! we play anything and everything, and Codenames includes the youngest (7) up to the adults.
Yes. You need at least 2 players for each team but the teams can be uneven. One person on each team will give the clues while the others will consult each other to select the targeted words. This is a GREAT game! My family which includes two thirty-something sons, plays it all the time.

everybody loves this game. we learned how to play with the brother in le and then bought it ourselves. introduced it to my family (sister, her husband, grandma and her boyfriend) and now we always play with them when we get together. they always ask to get together and play games; when we get together for holidays they say bring catan! i just ordered it for my sis & her hubs for xmas so they can play with their friends too. it takes a minimum to learn how to play but youl catch on if you learn from an experienced player- or watch youtube vids. its competitive. basically- the modern day monopoly- it just might tear your family apart!…
Great fun game which involves street and a little skill. Lasts a reasonable length of time-so everyone doesn’t lose interest. A moderate learning curve.
If you hav main game and 5-6 expansion then you can play up to 6 people max.
Grimm Forrest is a great colorful fun game for all. its simple and has a similar game play to Catan. It's based off the Grimm Brother's tales. Enjoy!
Great family game, the scenarios are always different.
Great family game, but very difficult to get started & figure out if no one has played before. We had a 13 & 15 yr old & 2 adults & struggled for a few turns till we got the knack of things. Took about 3 hours to play. Quite fun tho! Buying one for my sister's family now. Hope that helps.
I was afraid this game would require a Doctorate to understand as many of these box games do, but this one is simple, quick and very enjoyable. Wish we had bought it a long time ago. Can't wait to get an expansion; thinking Pirates!
