I bought this to go with an old analog tube TV when we ‘cut the cable’ and bought a digital attic antenna.…
…In the picture you can see that the remote is only slightly larger than the small remote for the Apple TV. The Apple TV remote has what amounts to 7 buttons and is easy to use even in a darkened home theater.…
Yes, it will connect to the hdmi input in the TV
It works when the TV is off. This product works as hdmi input, hdmi output terminal.
If you are thinking about using it to record off of those devices I would say yes up to 1080i. I use mine to record off of the Pluto TV app and haven't had a problem. Just keep in mind that the number of record timers you can create is limited.
No. It's just a Video Recorder for the TV. It does record from an HDMI input and requires a Hard Drive for storage.
Must be able to hook up to Roku. Smart tv makes it much easier!
You need some type of streaming media device. It can be built into a smart tv or an external box like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Xbox, etc.
I believe you are talking about a CAT5 or CAT6 Ethernet cable with an RJ45 connector. You cannot use a splitter on an Ethernet cable. The Tablo needs an Ethernet connection and if you also want/need one for your TV you have to have two cable runs from the router. If your router doesn't have an extra Ethernet port open, you will have to add an Ethernet switch to get an additional Ethernet port(s).
I watch the saved TV programs on my iPhone using their App.
…It found all my antenna channels i have always had.another TOTAL bonus many potential buyers might have is YES a full one day EPGuide for every channel WITH descriptions of whats on, AND it will control the volume/mute on your tv. have not hooked it up yet with HDMI but even with just RCA red/white/yellow the picture/sound is GREAT!…
I do not know about smart tv. I only have a regular flat screen HD tv. I use it with my antenna and get antenna tv with it
It works with my LG Smart TV.
Well we are finally able to get the channels from the box we have, my husband purchased this Mediasonic HW- 150 PVR to help us be able to do that. I really don't know much about them except we have an antina but out would not pick up the channels, & he said we needed this. Well it works great and has helped greatly.
Yes your can pause TV.
It will record from over-the-air antennae tv, but not cable/satellite
I am not sure I do not have a smart tv however it does come with plug and play cables if you have jacks on the back of your tv it should work
I don't know. Read the specifications.
Yes. It is very easy to set up. Also, it is small and should be able to fit almost anywhere you would want to place.
My box is hooked directly to an outside antenna and then using HDMI cable into my TV...I'm not familiar with projection boxes, but believe if you have a HDMI port to plug into it should work! Hope this helps, Scott
You need to connect TV Antenna to this unit in order to receive channel.
No, it receives only over the air channels,
They work great for my older antenna tv's.
not sure but you do need either an outdoor antenna or hd tv indoor antenna first
I have not looked into that. I doubt it.
no, just TV
Not that I know of. Not an electronic's expert. It does a good job of converting the sigml. Sound on my TV is clear.
Nope, "what you see is what you get". It can only decode one channel at a time. If you wanted to record & watch a different channel you could do it by buying two converter boxes & have one feeding the TV and another feeding the recorder. (Then hook the recorder to the TV as an AUX input--use 2 audio & 1 video type hook up wire.=available everywhere.) Piece of cake!! OH yeah--get a coax splitter to hook both boxes to your antenna line.
