Excellent general purpose cord for outdoor use.
These work great with our generator and reach from one end of the house to the other.
Well it's 16/3 wiring, and it seems well built. But I only bought it for my generator and I've only used it once. I would recommend this though.
…Everybody probably needs one cheap general use cord and this one does the trick. I personally would not use this for anything over about 100Watts (say 10 Amps or so) but for general light duty use it does just fine.…
Very heavy duty

This Conntek 20572 Generator Extension Cord 50-Foot 10/3 30 Amp 3 Prong Extension Cord is a great 30 AMP 125 voltage Locking plug. I recently used my generator and this unit performed its function without issue.…
You cannot easily hook a 3 prong Honda generator to a 4 prong transfer switch. A 3 prong connection is likely 120 volts with a hot, a neutral, and a ground. A 4 prong connection is 240 volts with two hots that are 120 each but opposite voltages than can provide 240, a neutral, and a ground. It is possible to have a qualified electrician install a transformer to make the conversion, thus providing you with a matching 3 prong outlet. Most people find it easier and more cost effective to get a generator with the proper 4 prong 240 volt output.
Yes. The AC Works ADL1430L530 will convert this three-prong L5-30R 30 amp cord to a four-prong L14-30P 30 amp male plug that will connect to an exterior house generator socket. We power most of our house from a single 2,000 watt portable generator using this setup -- convert 15-amp three-prong to L5-30, use the L5-30 30-amp cord, and then the L5-30R to L14-30P adapter. It won't run any 220 volt systems like the well pump and heat, but everything else fits under 2,000 watts for us. If the ADL1430L530 adapter is no longer on Amazon (used to be listed as AC Connectors, not AC Works), the key is to look for the plug types: L5-30R to L14-30P . https://www.amazon.com/d/Electrical-Adapters/AC-WORKS-ADL1430L530-Locking-Adapter/B06XS28BB2

Should be no problem. Works with my 7000/6000 generator.
Well made, should last a lifetime.
This is a heavy duty cord. Seems well made.
I was able to connect my large 23.5 cu. ft refrigerator-freezer (1,300 Watts) and my TV-Cable-Receiver system (~1,000 Watts) to this cord. Great, reliable product!
As long as you have the correct outlet on your generator, you’re good to go.
I can't answer to the specific model number, but it has a standard 30 amp 4 prong plug, and I am using it on a Champion generator.
