It's the best generator I have ever owned, starts with 1or2 pulls, not to heavy ...It met My expectations...works better than ones I bought from Home Depot & Lowes...also cheaper

…This would also be a great product for those who are looking for a battery back up system for their home office computer or other medium duty home appliances.…I would reccomend using thing power bank in-line with a proper power spike strip to mitigate the damage done in the event of a power surge and loss on one's home computer.…
Living in Hawaii I experience frequently power outages and this has been very reliable. It can be pre-charged and hold the charge for months on end without losing amperage. This last monsoon we had I went 8 hours without power and this was able to run my mini fridge and also charge portable power banks in one charge. I've also used this as a portable flashlight due to its light weight and dual light feature. One thing that could make this better would be the addition of another wall outlet type plug and less USB ports.…
I absolutely love my Jackery Explorer 160!! I’ve taken it on overnight work trips with me and it keeps all my devices fully charged for the next next day. A big bonus that I also like is the built in flashlight. My father likes my Jackery Explorer so much that I’m thinking about getting him one also. Great product.
Excellent product; used at home and on an overlanding trip.…
Really impressed by quality and appearance of item, packaging, light weight, quick delivery and follow up from Jackery! I love how easy all the hook ups are (solar newbie here!) It is great fun to begin the learning how much wattage is used for different items when charging. My unit was @ 37% when it arrived, and It took a few hours to charge from the wall. I then charged my cell phone, which was around 60% and it pulled 6 watts for the time it took to charge.…
…It's great for camping and also perfect if your power goes out at home!
I have seen it in use several times for emergency power backup. After last springs tornado here at home we ordered our first one.
Dear customer, this is Jackery Service Team, thanks for your interest on Jackery Portable Power Station. I had this spec infortion for device you mentioned your Quetion, an ResMed Airsense 10 Cpap, from ResMed home page: Typical power consumption: 53W (57VA) Peak power consumption: 104W (108VA). Working hours for Explorer 240 will be appr. 4.5 hours. But if you used to use a CPAP machine with humidifier and heat off, you will be getting more working time from Jackery Explorer 240.
It provides power for my CPAP while camping or when the power is out at home.
…When I got home it still was at 87%.…
…I use my Jackery every week at home for just simple charging of items when I don’t have a free outlet available.…
…After fully charging at home prior to drive up, each charge lasted 4-5 days.…
…I store it in my room at home as Emergency backup for power outages.
It's the best generator I have ever owned, starts with 1or2 pulls, not to heavy ...It met My expectations...works better than ones I bought from Home Depot & Lowes...also cheaper
This generator is well worth the price compared to similar generators at the big chain home improvement stores.…
…I was so very glad I could stay home with my puppy and tropical plants.
Just got this generator from Amazon, arrived in a couple of days as expected. The generator seems to be a nice compact neat looking unit. I added 20 ounces of oil & put in a gallon of gasoline and it started on the third pull. I ran it for about five minutes and then plugged in an electric radiator which is 1500 W. Within minutes the radiator was hot, the voltmeter didn't drop and the unit seem to be running fine.…
Great generator for the price. I did expect it to have the gas gauge as described and it did not come with it. Other than that I am very satisfied with the unit. Terry of Blandon, Pa
…I like this generator for back up power for home and boat.

…I wanted to install a back up system in my home following a suggestion from PG&E in an email to its customers after the occurrence of a couple of fires in Northern California .…
…My home is located near the edge of my electric service area and it gets several power outages each year.…
Typically home refrigerators use about 800 watts, this model maxes out at 500 watts. You could consider a gas generator. Another cheaper option would be one of those fancy ($300) Yeti coolers to keep your food cold. Hope this helps.
Yes, It is safe to use indoors. I charge it inside my home, and use it inside the cab of my truck to run a 12V refrigerator and inside my camper to charge items and run AC items off of the integrated 500w inverter. This is a really solid product. I have used it a lot over the past couple of months and I really find it useful.
As we faced an historic power outage in Marin County due to more northerly firestorms, I purchased this 500 watt backup for home, not for camping.…
…Should be useful for camping and power disruptions at home.…
…Although I haven't been able to use it away from my home, I immediately hooked the panels to the unit within minutes.…
As for home oxygen concentrators these tend to use a lot of power (300+ watts), so you wouldn't get much runtime. Portable pulse oxygen concentrators might be more realistic for people that use less than 5 liters/minute of oxygen (check with doctor). I'm not super familiar with portable oxygen concentrators, but I do know some of them have an option to charge with a 12 volt cigarette lighter outlet. This would be much more efficient than the AC inverter from the Jackery 500. As for bi-pap machines I would suggest 2 things: First avoid using your humidifier or heated tube. Second purchase a special DC adapter made for your model of machine. I purchased a DC connector for my older ResMed S8 (CPAP) for $85 from cpap.com. Using these 2 tips will greatly extend your runtime; a cpap would get about 6 to 7 nights depending on pressure and altitude. A bi-pap machine will probably be a bit less. Hope this helps.

…I've been testing the capabilities of this power station at my home before I plan on taking it out for fishing and camping.…
I wasnt sure what this item was but based on my experience with the item, it is more meant for home use as supposed using this for commercial. I have tried to use this thing fo a vacuum cleaner and for my portable AC unit and it is able to turn them on but it does not provide enough power to make them work properly. I believe that you be the case for you. So for something more demanding like a horse sum pump I guess a power generator would be your best bet. Hope that helps
…I first tested it at home of course.…

Purchased a new home 2 months back and during a recent snow storm my home went off power for 4 hours and this necessitated the purchase of this portable generator along with the other usage which i had in my mind for long, i.e have something like this when i am camping far north with no easy access to stuffs. It has worked well for me till now and I using this in my basement to light a lamp and have charging done for my routers just to keep it in running state in case of any emergency.…

Must have, very portable, lightweight, USB C best choice, battery last for so many uses, charging with solar panel is fantastic, never leave home without it, take it with me to a jungle trip and to a remote island, it deliver all the power I need for iPhone, iPad , Usb fan, lights, speakers.…
I have been using the Jackery 160 for several months and have found it reliable and very handy. This past week I used it to power my router during a 2 day poser outage and it worked flawlessly. One key advantage is its ability to hold its charge for an extended period of time so it is ready when needed.
It powers about 100 watts for an hour. You need to figure it fully based on the power usage of the fan.
Yes it charges from wall socket not sure if you can use and charge same time. I think you can.
…Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase and will be keeping it ready at home for when the power goes out so I can still watch movies in the dark!
…This little wonder makes boondocking in our motor home delightful!…
…Also it charges very fast in the car and at home
Plug the string in at home and see how long it lasts. Try using LED lighting, a fraction of electricity is needed.
When mine arrived it had about 30% battery life, however the instructions advise you to leave it plugged in and charging whenever at home and not in use.
