I ordered this scale and I got it so quick and it was safely pkg'd.After opening and reading the directions it was real easy to use.I bought this scale primarily for weighing coins.I collect coins and when the mint makes coins sometimes they accidentally strike a coin on the wrong material which can be weighed to find out if you have one of those mistakes.I like this little scale it's very accurate, easy to use and the price was right. What else can you ask for?
This email came to me so I'll assume this is the scale I have.. I have never found the need for a calibration weight. I use it daily weighing ejuices and if I feel it's not accurate I just change the batteries and it's fine. It's a perfectly good scale imo.. hope that helps answer your question. In absence of an 'official ' calibrating weight I've always used a nickel ( .05 cent U.S. coin ) as a measure for 5 grams I believe.. lol, I hope, I think that's right.. anyway. I would recommend and I would buy another.
I would say yes. I regularly use mine to weigh tiny yarn-ball leftovers (in grams) from craft projects, and it works well for those.
