The mic is very useful in phone calls, and working voice to text, etc. The control allows you to raise / lower volume, also on/off .

Logitech Over-The-Head Wireless Headset H600
$39.99 & FREE Shipping. Details

This headset is both comfortable and practical, and I've yet to find another headset of equal or better quality in this price range. I've owned two of these in the past, (one for me and one for the wife), and when one got lost in the move, I went on a research spree. I found that, for the price, these headsets can't be beat. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants mobility and decent quality without paying over $50 for a headset.

…This likely could be solved with a usb sound card, and for the price of this mic, one should really be included.... I haven't listened to too many headsets to compare them, but I did try the hyper x cloud 2, and these sound better to me even though they have no usb sound card like those do.…

Bluetooth only with a usb stick

Great product

Will I be able to use this headset as a usb headset mic and not a wireless headset mic? I'm looking for a good gaming usb headset mic with mute switch

The wireless dongle/adapter for the unit is a USB adapter, so as far as "acting" like a USB headset mic vs a wireless headset doesn't really matter. This headset/mic combo, like most of them.. will show up as 2 different "pieces" when you go into the audio settings for Windows. One half in the Playback, one half in the Recording. You can use it as a regular system microphone, so things like Discord, TS, Cortana (if you use it), can all detect audio from it. It does have a button you can toggle as mute on and off. Doesnt get very loud to me because if you want to listen to music you cant really "blast" it, but that's not the normal core use for things like this anyway, but otherwise audio quality is decent, mic seems decent. Batt life is fairly good and the range is good. I was using on avg 10-15 feet from the transmitter and it was fine. I will say I have the transmitter on a USB extension cord and had raised up a little bit from the desk, which helps, but for short 5-10 feet distances shouldn't matter much.

USB Receiver - Good headphones

These headphones are great IF you are wanting headphones with a USB receiver. I did not realize that these had the USB receiver, despite reading reviews and the product descriptions.… Besides the USB receiver necessary to use these, these headphones were great for the short period I wore them.… Overall, I would definitely recommend these headphones to people for gaming, but I want to reiterate that they have a USB receiver, that MUST be used to have them function.

Great battery life, and great value

The battery life is incredible, and the box includes a really long micro-USB cable once you do need to charge the headset.…

Pretty nice, but the sound isn't as good as a Turtle Beach

…This one is much easier to use, simply plug the USB dongle in and it automatically sets up. the recharged cord is pretty straight forward as well.…

Sounds great and no squelch on the microphone!

…It cancels out a lot of the background noise at work while receiving calls. being a USB dongle based headset is even better because there are no wires.…

Five Stars

great wireless USB headset

Great sound!

Wireless sync to Bluetooth or USB is fast and easy.

Can USB / microUSB cables work on different brands of headsets? I'm out of USB ports.

Joe, I don't know. Mine is plug into the notebook USB port directly. FYI, many years ago, I ran out USB ports, I went and bought one of those extended multiple USB ports (1 to 4) unit. It did not work for me. Hope this help. Best regards, Anis

What happen if I lost the USB nano receiver?

How to connect this to smartphone? Coz smartphone don't have the usb port.

The headset has a 3 position switch. Off, Bluetooth, computer/USB. You connect to the computer using USB. If you want to connect to you phone switch to Bluetooth and start talking. Of course, you have to pair it with your phone the first time, same as any Bluetooth accessory.

even works while charging with usb cord & usb receiver plugged into computer!

does this come in a 3.5 mm plug in instead of usb?? i need the control to have a 3.5mm instead of a usb

Dear customer, Thanks for your question. If you need to use the 3.5mm audio cable, please kindly take off the USB adapter.

Mpow USB Headset

Just what I needed. Item works perfectly

Nicely Features and Quality

Nice flexibility to use with USB or 3.5mm! Computer use for both USB and plug, plug works great on XBox remotes.

Love the USB interface

Good quality product.

Will the usb work on ps3 to turn it in to a usb mic

yes

Can i just plug into the headphone jack without using the usb? will both headphones and microphone work?

You can use the mini or usb. The inline volume/mute control is a connector to the USB vs. mini. I swap back and forth throughout the day.

Great Quality Headset for Gaming

…However, some of the controls on the head piece are a bit clunky and it is a bit annoying to require a separate USB device to communicate with the computer instead of using Bluetooth.…I use a gaming laptop and had to purchase a USB port to accommodate the USB connectivity of this thing.…

Why the transmitter?

I do not like that in order to use it you must have a USB chip plugged in to the device that you want to use it for.…

The Logitech G935 are good wireless gaming headphones that have great sound quality. They are the wireless variant of the Logitech G635 and they are very similar in design. The G935 are comfortable but can feel a bit tight on some heads. Their bulky design also isn't ideal for outdoor use, and they don't isolate much noise. Their boom microphone is decent for gaming but doesn’t sound as clear as the G635’s. On the upside, they're compatible with the Logitech G Hub software, which is one of the best and most complete apps we’ve tested so far. Their wireless component offers more freedom to move around than the G635, which some may prefer.
The HyperX Cloud Core are decent, straightforward gaming headphones. They sound good and are quite similar in design to the HyperX Cloud II, but without any controls. These headphones are made for people who want a simple headset that can work with every console and don’t really care for customization options and controls. They have a great microphone for online games, and it is also detachable to make the headphones more outdoor-friendly. However, they don’t isolate much noise and won’t be ideal for commuting if you do decide to use them with your phone. On the upside, they have the same sturdy and comfortable build of the similar Cloud headsets.
