Hi, Thank you for contacting us. The Exercise Balance Pad contains firmness to give the stability that is needed for multiple exercise routines. The Exercise Balance Pad is not a hard dense product. Best Regards,
Hi, thank you for your inquiry. The differences in material (foam) in this specific product is that the Airex Balance Pad contains yielding foam that is made with the familiar soft Airex foam material with a smooth surface. The yielding foam allows a body challenged to maintain balance, and stabilizes the joints. On the other hand, the ProSource Exercise Balance Pad contains a high density foam that gives perfect support. This balance pad is 2.4 inch thick, and had a flexible foam surface that is cushioned that can be used for Yoga, Pilates, or Physical Therapy. Kind Regards,
This Prosource pad is beyond 5 stars! It is dense, firm, professional and stunning in appearance!! Very high quality and does not budge on a hard wood floor. The pad gives in just the right amount to provide a challenge for balance! I love the size as well!…
the grandkids (2 and 4) also like to bounce up and down on it - dual purpose, lol. Seriously this is great, it's holding up nicely and not shredding or falling apart or anything and for my needs it has just the right amount of spring and give.
…It worked as advertised and I started trying all the suggested exercises in the e-book. There were some exercises I had not even considered before reading the e-book. The exercise strap is an added bonus which definitely helps with my stretching.
Great you like the pad! if you don't wear shoes, the exercises will be more beneficial, it will be more comfortable for your feet and the pad will last longer!
I would say it’s more to kneel on when doing exercises on 1 or 2 knees.
I think anyone could benefit from this. More difficult exercises can be added as you progress.
ALL ONE NEEDS TO DO IS STAND ON THE UNIT. THE SOFTNESS OF THE FOAM MAKES ONE'S BODY WORK HARDER-- PROVIDE BETTER BALANCE-- THIS IS USED BY MY PHYSICAL THERAPIST!! I DO SEVERAL DIFFERENT EXERCISES AND CAN FEEL THE DIFFERENCE---VERSUS DOING THEM ON A REGULAR FLAT FLOOR. GOOD LUCK!!!
We use it for smaller dogs to stand on when exercising with the large peanuts.
There are 2 closed, solid foam blocks which velcro together to make one solid block. The velcro holds the blocks together very well. I have never had them come apart during exercise.
These pads are even more versatile than stated in the description: placing them short end to short end creates a pad wide and long enough to do tandem (one foot in front of the other) balance exercises! And, when placed side by side making the pad pictured in the promo info, many other balance exercises can be done with the same kind of experience as my therapist has me do during therapy sessions as an outpatient. These pads will also work great for doing regular home exercises (classical stretch essentrics/yoga/pilates) when a block is needed for proper positioning for floor exercises. …I highly recommend this item for a higher quality balance exercise experience!
Yes. If u do strengthening exercises for all knee and leg muscles not just squats. There are better knee exercises than just squats if you have cartilage and patella or meniscus damage/ injury.
Yeah they would help with knee pain when walking. The straps are adjustable so you can tighten it or loosen to your desired comfort level.
I have used this product 3 times so far while exercising, and I have already noticed a difference in lack of pain I feel.…As a result, the patellar tendon seemed to be feeling most of the work I did from strength exercises for my quad.…
I had gotten reconstructive surgery on a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament 5 years ago. It still affects my knees while I'm doing any kind of exercises. It really helps me to stable my knees.
I really couldn't guarantee that it would actually prevent an injury but the brace is very sturdy and supportive. I do not have an injury. I wear it for support when I exercise.
No, this product will not keep your knee immobile. I can exercise, bend my knees during cardio exercise and jogging all while wearing this knee brace.
I would think so. I use it for exercise and strength training .
Hi! I haven’t done a lot of exercises that require constant bending your knees, but from my experience using it, you should be fine! It’s a great brace!
