…Nice, even heating and I can either turn the pancakes individually with a bamboo skewer, or flip the whole pan-full over onto another heated griddle to brown the backs while I make another round of emoji-cakes!…
This pan can be used on all stove tops. It performs well on electric stoves and can be flipped onto a griddle to cook the backside while you start another round of pancakes.
Thank you for your question. The handles are not designed to be removed.
Thank you for your question, Cynthiajotim. The George Foreman Evolve Grill series features an optional baking plate that can be used much in the way a griddle can be.
Hello Greg, I'm not completely sure, but, one thing I look for when I want to see compatibility of accessories is the "add on"..."customers who bought this also bought... Actually, I've only used the grill once because I have to bring out another gadget into a kitchen that is really small. You may also want to consider a Lodge LPG13, LDP3, LSRG3 reversible, cast iron griddle/grill pans. I hope this helps! Be well!
Thank you for your inquiry, Jason. There is a flat griddle plate available for the George Foreman Evolve Grill series models (part number GFP84GP), which may more suitable for pancakes. However, if you are looking do do a smaller pancake in the omelet pan, the George Tough Nonstick Coating eliminates the need to use butter or oil directly on the cooking surface.
I love this griddle, I have never owned a Pampered Chef Griddle.
...I have a glass top stove and use this griddle weekly for grilled cheese sandwiches and pancakes...It works perfectly for me. No hot spots and no warpage...Great griddle...
Sure, I see no reason why it couldn't. It's a great griddle - sturdy and easy to clean.
Yes. The handle is thick, comfortable and always stays cool. This griddle is great - it far exceeds my previous high priced one.
This is the second tilt griddle from presto I have owned product came in perfect codiction it's a newer model from my old one the troff drain in front is an excellent improvement love that wife fixes breakfast for me every morning with less cleanup
I'm not sure what you mean by shift, but the side handles pull out so the griddle tilts (as its name implies) to drain any grease or oil into the collecting tray under the griddle. We love this griddle. Easy to clean & use!
I can't tell the size in numbers because the griddle is at church. I have four of them. I use them to make corn bread hoe cakes. I love these griddles. They have a very good even heat. I put 6, 5 inch hoe cakes on each griddle. Compared to the other name brands. I like these best because of the size and the even heat.
Yes, You really can cook anything...I've done quesadillas, steaks, warm tortillas for a crowd! It's a great griddle,
How thin are you slicing that bacon? But at reasonable thickness, yes.
Yes. I bake biscuits and rolls on it. I like the griddle a lot.
I don’t know but I have cooked on it in the oven as high as 450 degrees without a problem.
It works very well on propane gas stove be using it daily for last 8-9 yrs we are VERY HAPPY With it.
I suppose it can. A wood fire would leave a lot of soot on the back of the griddle. Charcoal would be cleaner. I use the griddle at home on the stove top, in the camper and on a portable propane stove. If you're making pancakes for the grandkids you can't beat it.
