…am a runner. …material and waist band are good but if you are a runner, keep looking.
I am not a runner, but I love these socks. They are comfortable and shoes do not eat them!!! Feet stay comfortable and dry!
I'm a runner so I cant say for sure, but they have excellent padding for the toes and heels and they breathe well.
Absolutely it makes a difference or at least the Balega makes a difference. It has an additional padding on the base and the ankle support. The material on top of the soak breaths better and drys quickly for an extended runner or a trail adventure runner. Before any race or physical fitness test I would always make sure to wear a new pair of socks. The padding will break down over time on the bottom if you wear them as an everyday sock. But they keep their form and I’ve never had a problem with the ankle support slipping or causing blisters. So my vote is yes, socks matter when your a runner.
Gail, my son is a runner and he wears the hidden comfort tab which prevents the sock from slipping which can cause blisters. I have the ankle length hidden comfort and the hidden comfort tabs and both of these have the same great cushioning. My son has tried many brands and these are his favorite. Hope this helps and I am sure you wont be disappointed.
Not really unfortunately, think they are kinda intended for more of a runner figure. I felt like I was putting on pantyhose or something trying to get them over the hams/quads. ended up just cutting them into short shorts.
