According to to the acknowledgments this is Robert Daniel's first book. On the whole it was a pretty enjoyable read. Good storyline and good character development. Some of them you loved...Some you really hated. I will be looking for Mr.Daniels next book as I'm eager to see how writing a book developed him. The only criticism I have is the story jumped a bit. In one line you would be in one location...the next line of prose would have you across town, a little disconcerting at times as you didn't know you were up and moving till you got there. One other thing, I highly doubt the Atlanta Police Department is quite so pedestrian. I know they are a well developed, technology savvy police department. At times the interplay of characters had me thinking Andy and Barney would be dropping by from Mayberry in the next chapter.
Honestly, these are minor criticisms. The story was a well developed police thriller that I enjoyed reading. Thanks Mr. Daniel!
