What if everything crumbled down around you, life as you know it just ground to a halt. Simply stopped. No electricity to preserve food, pump water to your residence, gas into your SUV. What if those long, often violent lines currently real in Venezuela were on YOUR street. If law and order fell free, and the basic goodwill of man evaporated. No medicine coming to your pharmacy amymore. Prisoners must be released.....consider, what are the core values that your community, then the country, could be soundly rebuilt upon? Who can you rely on in your time of deepest need? Other countries have begun enduring just such calamity. Greece. Venezuela. Germany and France have the potential to fall immediately. When we think "that can't happen to us," then we read this precient and thought-provoking series by best selling author Bobby Akart, we see all to well the threat is real. Rich in plot twists, outstanding characters, hope and hard work to persevere. It is the very spirit of the Founding Fathers that guides and directs. When put to the test, always Choose Freedom!

Boring and dragged out

To long and drawn out with to much of a civics class. And not enough knowledge on what is going to happen when the power goes down or the length of time to correct the damage. Its going to take more than several months to even get basic service restored. Not every one has a radio that works with a grid down situation.
But it does play into the problems of today.

Have you ever wondered what life in the USA would be like if we were hyper attacked and lost all our electrical power? How would you survive? Do you have enough food for your family? Do you have enough guns and ammo to protect your family and home from desperate people who want to kill you, take your weapons, and steal your food? Bobby Akart series provides an absolute clear picture of what life would be like. It is a frightening account with heroes and villains. But the strength and perseverance of the people of America is always on display. Akart provides interesting characters, history lessons, and tips on how to be prepared along with a well thought out fiction series that I wasn't able to put down.

While it's a series most of us can't relate exactly to because we're not related to a founding father of the country and don't have unlimited funds to prep, it's still a very good "what if" series. Our country is in such turmoil that it seems a very likely scenario that a leader could use a "disaster" to stay in power. I wish I could be as prepared as the Boston Brahmin. There are so many "what if" scenarios that are possible & none of us truly know what could happen, but this series gives us a definite option. I read a lot and this has been the best series of any author I have ever read. The detail, research, and the great story was amazing. Please read this book, you will not be disappointed - I wasn't!

An amazing series!

This series was absolutely one of the best I've ever read. I hesitantly picked the first book as it is not my typical choice. A few pages in and I was hooked. Not only is the story interesting but the subject matter hit home for me. This book clearly defines what is wrong with our country and explains it in a way few could argue. The history woven in as well as the current events keep your eyes glued to the pages and make you say 'Choose Freedom' out loud. Truly inspiring and a must read for American patriots!

Why did I not know about Author Bobby Akart before this past year...I mean really! The Boston Brahmin is a riveting, edge of seat, page turning series that keeps you enthralled throughout the complete series. I really enjoyed the political/behind the scenes maneuvers that were included. Characters were amazing and developed more with each book. Read this series - quick - you will NOT regret it! One of the best series in this genre.
