5.0 out of 5 stars Mental health for little brains 🧠😌
By Ruthie and Justin Wood on March 16, 2021
We LOVE The Good Egg. The lesson behind this book is to focus on yourself and your own mental health. My 2 year old loves this book and so do my 3rd and 4th graders. My third grader actually was able to relate to the egg and made some impressive connections behind her own people-pleasing tendencies.

This has become our brain-break book; "Egg break" as the toddler calls them. We love the tools and ideas it suggests for when you are feeling overwhelmed.

I came here to get a new copy because ours is so well loved and was blind sided by the reviews I saw. Obviously, if you are not going to look after your chdren to make sure they are not writing on walls or having BMX style staircase races - this book is not for you. If you want a book that is fun, inviting, imaginative, colorful, and comes with coping tools to foster emotional independence- GET THE GOOD EGG!
