I enjoyed reading/listening to the three books. There is a lot of action and the details of the characters are sufficient. The struggle of the main character to find his way back to the family is a good story, but there is a lot lacking in background of the Priams and their tech. I think it is a good read for the money, but the author could have made a 10-30 book epos, thus failing to tell the whole story.
