I loved Rebel. I thought Hellion was just okay. I thought Trouble was fabulous.
Alissa was a heroine that I expected to downright dislike. She starts off pregnant with another man's baby--I didn't really think that was the kind of heroine I was going to like at all. Instead, she became one of the best heroines that I've read in a long time. She's sweet, but so brokenhearted over the way things have turned out for her. She genuinely works through her struggles and becomes a better person because of it.
And then we have Colin. He is one of the best heroes that I've read in a long time. He's sexy and sweet and sincere and wants to better himself for Alissa so badly. She doesn't ask him to change; he wants to change, to grow for her.
Colin and Alissa are the perfect couple, really. They melted my heart when they were together. Their chemistry was spot on, but it wasn't all just about sex with them. You knew they genuinely cared about one another way before their relationship turns physical.
As a series ender, it's well-done. I loved seeing all the previous characters, as well as wrapping everything up. It's a truly happy ending and I loved the series as a whole.
