Very well written (and, Hallelujah! properly proofread and edited). Finished the 9-book series. This first book at times seemed a bit tedious to me, with its very detailed descriptions of Tokyo and Rain’s long SDR’s (surveillance detection routes). Someone familiar with Tokyo would probably appreciate the details more. However, as the series continued, the reason for giving so much detail at the start became apparent. Sleep deprivation became a major problem, as I repeatedly found myself becoming so engrossed with Rain-san that I totally lost track of time. Will definitely read more by Eisler — after a break to catch up on my sleep.
