We've traditionally purchased Nike shoes for our kids and this is the second UA kids shoe that has been purchased. The UA shoes fit more true to size versus the Nike shoes, which tend to run small. We compared these UA shoes to the same size in Nike and they are slightly longer.

The Nike shoes do have an edge with quality. Usually kids shoes aren't worn long enough to get in rough shape because they are outgrown so fast. The UA shoes tend to have the color rub off on the front of the toe box. Never had that issue with Nike's. The sole is also softer and tends to wear more quickly on the UA's.

Overall these are a good shoe, just fall a bit short on qualty compared to Nike.
