With such a positive title, a reader looks forward to happy endings and is not disappointed. The fact that the inspiring climax in each story arrives after a valley of struggle, of maturation or of hurdles, will not surprise. We are reading about humans and the way they meet what life throws at them, sometimes suddenly and for some, over years. I particularly liked Barbara Nersesian's, "The joys of working with autistic teens." Her take on this experience was that it became a gift to her.
