I have enjoyed many of the historical mysteries written by Ms. Locke- very well-written, with engaging characters. But her foray into science fiction is even better: the history of Earth woven into a seamless story about life on a new planet, with all of the heros and villians any realistic depiction of a society contains. Telepathic furry animals!
