I've been hooked on the Black Jack series since the very beginning. The series has been full of action the entire time and have always been quick reads due to the fact that I can't put the books down. While this book has action, it wasn't as much as prior books. Because this was a little slower paced it took me a little longer to get through it.
The lack of action isn't necessarily a bad thing as I believe Jack Campbell is laying the groundwork for rest of this series. Introducing new characters, laying out the political climate, things like this. Going forward as the actual mission commences I believe the series will get even better and new surprises will be revealed. I can't wait for the next book!
