I really enjoyed the first book in this series - young girls in the Stoker and Holmes families taking on mysteries of their own - every interesting and fun. The second book in the series was a little bit different, still wonderful but I think this one had more plot building to lead into the series versus just the book. In this installment, Mina and Evaline must figure out who is trying to drive a young girl crazy. In doing so there is a murder and some vampires, which happen to be Evaline's cup of tea, and more craziness from the cast of characters we met in book one.
The Spiritglass Charade left me with a few more questions than the last book had, but it was vivid with detail and I really love reading about Mina and Evaline. These girls are stubborn and so not in their time, they want to take on danger and action and can do so while dressed to the nines.
