I am quick to bail on a movie if I'm not thrilled with it. So at least I stuck with this one - there were a few laugh out loud lines plus I have a weakness for Jesse Eisenberg. But I never really bought K. Stewart as the Hollywood femme fatale. This may be a small issue, but her hair was more inexplicably mediocre than the average girl in the street, and totally unlike the tightly waved or curled do's of the 30's - unlike the sets, which passed as sufficiently 30ish. Blake Lively was not served well nor did she do much for the role, never taking off the sugary smile. I like her though, and feel bad for her for accepting the pathetic wifey role.
But the zinger, or lack of it, was the ending - or lack of it . It just sort of petered off into the ether.
