Definitely five stars worthy, and more but we know the limitations! Some of the most compelling storylines I have ever read. A very compassionately entertaining revelation of how some of our forefathers were treated, as they continuously faced the Indians, who defended the loss of their lands! Too, the character selections could not have been more perfectly selected for their commanding assignments from beginning to end.
The reunification of Johnny (Eli), and his brother Grady, certainly was an outstanding revelation, and quiet coincidental, which, in itself was definitely a heartwarming incident in its self! Johnny believed himself to be the sole survivor of his family, after the initial Indian attack of their ranch. He was taken by the Comanche completely unaware his brother have been captured by the Kiowa. Very heartwarming, but especially touching episodes from beginning to end!
Most definitely recommend this realistically motivated renditions of old American western folklore adventures, and the never ending suspenseful episodes throughout the entire book! There are never ending descriptive storylines that just reaches out and grabs your undivided attention from beginning to end. Even most of you non-western enthusiasts will find yourselves completely mesmerized by the authenticity of the Author's enviable ability to have you becoming totally engrossed with Johnny, and his many ongoing exploits! Failure to follow Johnny will, most definitely, be your loss!!!😃
