Wow! Just wow! This book was beyond awesome. It’s the second book in the series, so be sure and read the previous book first for maximum enjoyment. This was gripping from beginning to end. I think that Kate might just be my favorite of the Huxley sisters. She was so hilarious with her outrageous stories with “Legendaryness,” her silly songs, and her bright personality. Broderick. Sigh. What can I say except be still my heart. I’m such a sucker for a damaged and scarred hero. He definitely did not disappoint. I’m not certain how I’m going to survive until the next book is released. It won’t be easy. The following is my favorite dialogue from the book:

“What is the mind infection?” he asked.

“A small theory of mine. I’ve watched it happen to my sisters. First, they fall in love. Then they marry. Then they produce children. Then they transform.”

“Into?”

“I don’t know. Something other than what they were, that much is certain.”
