I decided to read this one because I needed a breather book that could follow a non-fiction and just be an easy go. I think I'm in the minority on this when I say this one wasn't great but wasn't awful. I found myself riding a rollercoaster of liking it, hating it, being bored, wondering if there's a plot, and finding it charming. In the end I'm still not 100% sure I know what I think about it. It just kind of was? I didn't like how most of the book was a slow burn of the main character learning to deal with death and an unfulfilled life but within the last few pages it all gets wrapped up perfectly in a beautiful bow. Seemed like a cop-out to me. I know that's blunt, but I think honesty should always rule in book reviews.
