This book is a bit more text-heavy than other board books in our library, and it can be overwhelming for my 4 month old. The illustrations are a bit too complex for little eyes, and it's difficult to isolate things to elaborate on. I can see this book being more appropriate for 2-4 year olds.
The story is very sweet, and the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous. I look forward to enjoying this book for many years!
