As I reach the end of this particular chapter in Winland’s life, I find myself in a very unfamiliar place. I’m left with no words. I’m not stunned, nor am I elated, excited, angry, depressed or let down. My feeling is simply indescribable.
I’ve made my living for many years through the use of words. More significantly, as anyone who knows me even marginally can tell you, I haven’t stopped talking since i spoke my first word at the age of two. So when silence reigns, finally, after 56 some odd years, it’s a bit of a shock…. to say the very least.
Answers are found and quests are ended, but even more questions abound. There’s nothing bad or negative about this book, in the slightest. It’s truly an awesome step in what is probably one of the best series in the Oriceran Universe. But I was still, nonetheless, totally flummoxed when I reached the end. Pick it up and see how YOU respond and then let me know. ENJOY!
