This was a much-awaited start to a new series and I have to say that I was not disappointed, I loved the characters and the storyline had been written extremely well and on reaching the end it leaves you waiting eagerly for future books in the series.
This had been written about a time after the post-apocalyptic world which is a period that some authors are particularly good at and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed this first book which I thought had ticked all of my boxes for a great read.
Layla and her sister have done well to survive and stay together in a time when females are sought after and Layla and Ariel are on the run since their parents were murdered, they have lived a very isolated lifestyle and continue to search for a place of safety and they are discovered by “The Wanderers”.
This is an institution where the safety of women is taken most seriously and they are taken to The Sanctuary a place where women are kept safe, remain in control of their independence and also many of them have Polyamorous relationship with the males as there are so few men to women.
The book is full of characters and personalities along with these two women that are looking for love and a life in a stable and loving relationship in a world where life and love and birth have become far more important as females are so few.
This leaves you full of suspense, and with quite a few questions and I have to say that I am looking forward to the next book so that I can discover what happens in the future to Laylah and her sister.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
