Customer Review

There is no denying that Sylvia Day writes well, but I found "Don't Tempt Me" to be unnecessarily convoluted to the point of having to make frequent use of the 'x-ray' feature on my Kindle for iPad. The story begins with two prologues, the first of which doesn't connect until about 40% of the way into the story. After that more things begin to make sense, but it's pretty tough sledding up until that point.

Had the story ended with a surprise, it might have been worth all the confusion early on, but the story actually ended as most of Ms. Day's usually do with the hero/ heroine being madly in love and getting married. Since there were multiple characters with that potential I hoped for something a little different for at least one if them. If you choose this book, you may want to take notes as that may be the only way to keep the characters, parallel plots and red herrings straight. Good luck.
