"Dad, why are you giving mom a Barbie doll?" Sure, well past the age of playing with dolls, in fact, retired, yet her face lit up like a 10 year-old when she saw the Barbie. The experts tell us retired folks become somewhat introspective as we age, so be it. My dear wife loved her dolls as a girl so why not surprise her with one when she's not a girl?
