Love this series.. love this book. The author takes the witch, the werewolf, and all the other supernatural things and entwines a story about people. The characters are fully fleshed out and the readers can empathize with all their emotions. The world building is robust and understandable. Power comes with consequences and weaknesses. Together you have a well rounded book with two storylines; the immediate story of the investigation into deaths for this one book, and the continuing storyline that ties the books together into a series. A series that makes sense and has no gaps or obvious plot holes. All in all, one of the better Urban Fantasy series out there currently. Recommended.
