I’ve been reading J. Patterson novels for almost 20 years, starting w/ 1st To Die(women’s murder club) however I’ve only made it up to the 7th one. I also read The Lake House, The Beach House(my fave), the NYPD Red series, and a few more, I can say that all of them were really satisfying, some more exciting & edge of your seat than others. I didn’t expect anything less out of “The Pres. is Missing”. While it wasn’t terrible, it simply built up storyness, & then just fell flat. I happen to like all of Patterson’s writing styles, & I really like first person narratives (this was mostly but not all 1st person). I also like the short chapters. But beyond that, this story left me starved for utter excitement, & page turning suspense. Just my honest feelings & opinion. But, you have to try to know.
