Black Hare Press have once again put together a great collection of stories to continue the Seven Deadly Sins series. There are stories of sibling rivalry, jealous best friends, angels and demons, and jilted lovers/unrequited love., and also a good mix of dark fantasy, horror, and humor. My three favorite stories would be 1) Anything You Can Do by Lyndsey Ellis-Holloway: the MC comes up with the crazy idea of needing an exorcism to attract the attention of her crush, the priest, but of course it doesn't go down as she expected. This one really made me laugh!2) Eternal Reflection by Jessica Chanese: a vile, jealous man, even in death, wants to ruin his brother's life. This is quite a dark, disturbing one. 3) Like a Mermaid by Neen Cohen: a swimmer uses her magic (and sewing) abilities to take care of a rival. A crazy, entertaining story. (Plus I always like mermaids). I also enjoyed Glass Eyes by Ximena Escobar: the literary style of this piece was so different to the other stories in this anthology. And E.N.V.I.E. by K.B. Elijah is a great scifi take on not appreciating what's yours, instead wanting what others have. Overall a great read! I recommend this whole series.
