As a kid in school I always felt like I was hitting my head against a brick wall when it cam to deep study or test prep. Information retention was not a strong suit and it showed in my grades. In later years I felt like I mostly overcame that in many ways, but learning and retention still took frequently repeated steps and more effort than I thought it should.

As you read through this book you’ll come across steps that you probably already use, or are at least aware of in your daily life. But the key is understanding how they actually work and the useful order to approach them in.

The author takes a practical approach to understanding how we currently deal with information input, processing and retention. And then how to adjust our mindset towards our learning habits. The memory techniques in chapter 4 will be especially helpful.
