Every story shouldn't be predictable or endlessly satisfying! Not all hero's should save the princess, and not all princesses should find their ideal prince charming. A successful story needs unpredictability otherwise reading would become stagnant! Thankfully Amelia Hutchins has recognized that and delivered an emotional rollercoaster of a book. By the time your 200 pages in you'll have cursed the authors name, ready to give it up...BUT YOU CAN'T! Nope....because now your frickin hooked! I wasn't planning on a 2 day binge reading this book, but alas that's what happened. I happen to absolutely love the book.
I didn't predict every outcome, nor did I love every character at first, but in the end the author gave me what I needed not wanted! I'm on to book 2. Needless to say, I'm a fan now😁
