I always enjoy Erica Spindler's books, although this wasn't her in top form.
Having read the previous books with the Malone family, I was familiar with them -- but it's been awhile, and once the whole family got involved in the storyline, I started getting really confused about who was who. I can't imagine someone who was reading this as their first book about the family was able to keep up with everyone. I also thought the murderer's identity was obvious, although their reasons why were a little convoluted.
The book also could've been about 100 pages shorter and still been good. It seemed a lot of pages were taken up with explanations of policies and procedures which could've been condensed and given us the same information.
