Oh my goodness don’t know where to start. Premise was good. However a fifth grader would think the author’s words immature. Who on earth would enjoy all those cliches? It ends so romantically (all was forgiven tied up with a pretty pink bow)! No reality to this story. I understand optimism as something sweet and pleasant. This author’s work is so sweet it went way overboard with sentimentality reminding me of heaping tablespoons of sugar and a jug of warm maple syrup over a serving of pancakes...a bit nauseating. Editing was A+ if you appreciate it as a skill (and I do). If you as a reader like unbelievably formulaic tales this book is for you! Otherwise steer clear of this one!
