While this is not a rhymer, the author has chosen language mezmerizing, poetic, and beautifully descriptive of life under snowy woods. She reveals a whole world of unseen creatures burrowed under winter white, as discovered by little girl--and all in hushed prose that will please small listeners if read deliberately. The artwork is perfect, polishing the text into a winter gem.
