This one killed me. I didn't review the others, but with the emotions of the last pages still rolling inme, I couldn't not respond. Grier has gone through a lot in the past few months beings home. Really becoming a matriarch to a rabble bunch, and trying to exploring life after the death of prison. This book shows us how the patterns set up in the previous two end. We find out what Boaz is made of, and Ameile. Linus proves himself, and my long held suspicion about the Master has been proven. And about Grier as well.
It makes me want to know what happens next. And if Odette will remind Boaz of what she had told him, and have him realize just how much he has failed. A big part of me hopes she does.
As for the Marchlands, I wonder if Grier can be given control over two households. Because they seem to need a better leader. And less crazy-pants. And whether Grier has a twin out there too.
