In this 10th installment in the Mercy Thompson series, Mercy finds herself in another country, away from Adam and the Pack. Adam must find and retrieve her from the Lord of Night, the most powerful vampire in Europe.
This books had a strange feel to it because of the way it was written, not following a linear timeline, and switching between Mercy's and Adam's points of view. The author warns you about this at the beginning of the book, but I really dislike reading a book with a disclaimer.
That said, I enjoyed the book and the story very much.
