For me, nothing is worse for sleeping than to be too hot. Microfiber sheets are popular but hold body heat, as do most cottons or blends. Sateen is a little cooler but heavier than Percale and not as cool. But Percale stays cool (almost cold) summer and winter. If I wake with hot feet, I just move them to a cool spot. It's heaven. If you want sheets that don't wrinkle, however, these aren't for you. Percale wrinkles, no matter the thread count, because the fibers are woven in cross-weave pattern that's a lighter weave; but it also makes them crisp, cool, and breathable. Remove from the dryer and put right on the bed for less wrinkles. I've also found the more they're washed, the less they wrinkle. I've slept on percale sheets for years and wouldn't have anything else. I've bought different brands and these were as good as any other brand. They arrived in 2 days, were packaged well, and I wasn't given anything to write this review.
