This collection, while not a “Complete Works,” has many of Lovecraft’s most well-known stories. If you are simply interested in reading Lovecraft’s works, there are numerous ways to read them - but this annotated edition is a far cut above the norm.
Each piece of fiction in the sizable book has numerous photos, footnotes, and helpful clarifications for those that are experiencing Lovecraft again OR for the first time. I have read his complete works about three times my entire life, and the footnotes and photos added a great level of depth to works that I already considered to be excellent on their own merits.
I encourage you to pick up this edition of Lovecraft‘s fiction without hesitation!
