The first 3 books have chapters that go back and forth between Jade and Talon's points of view. There's often suspense between sections, but not in a frustrating way. There are frequent hot and heavy scenes, and generally enough variety to keep things interesting while still believable. Underneath the hot and heavy is a really intense storyline that will keep you guessing.
This particular book is a good continuation of Jade and Talon's storyline. There's a small bit of closure towards the end. Then you have a short chapter from Jonah's point of view to hint at the transition to his storyline in the following 3 books. The very end of the book gives you another piece of the puzzle. I just purchased book 4 which will focus on Jonah. Can't wait to dive deeper!
WARNING: As mentioned on the book's product page, this series contains material that may be upsetting to some people, in the form of memories of rape/abuse. It is tastefully done, but please avoid these books if you would find that upsetting.
