As always I'm left wanting more, but I have to admit that I typically skip the sex scenes. While I understand their presence, I prefer the more interesting portions of the books. In the beginning the scenes were, dare I say necessary for the series. Now though, I feel they're more filler than anything else.
In the beginning Anita was against sex in general due to get history. So hey coming into enjoying sex was a necessary plot development. It was also critical to some of the story lines of the past. Now, I wonder if they're as needed as they were before or just a piece of the story that keeps getting repeated as other aspects of the past books.
I think the most frustrating aspect of this series is the constant rehashing of past occurrences. Then again, I have to keep in mind most people don't have a memory like my own. So maybe the references are needed for those these don't have the entire series memorized.
Regardless, it's a great addition to the series and I can't wait for the next book. Given that this was just released, I have a long time to wait.
