While most of these stores are good, they consist almost exclusively of either excerpts from, or entire novels that themselves are part of series. Some of them leave you hanging in the middle. So they aren't really a compilation of self contained novellas and short stories, but instead more of an introduction to a lot of authors in this genre. I did find a few new writers that I'll start reading.
