This is the only Nora Roberts book I have ever read (and I’ve read over 100 if I include the In Death series) where I felt like Ms. Roberts “phoned it in”. Really banal storyline, none of the usual intrigue or suspense, and the love story was completely juvenile. One particular part where the main characters have sex in the doctors exam room - I couldn’t believe Nora Roberts actually wrote that. Still, I did finish it, but I could have just as easily stopped reading at any point and wouldn’t have cared. Surprising from this author but hey, it’s only my opinion. I’m sure millions of other people enjoyed this book.
