I bought this drive to set up as the boot drive for my wife's Acer R5 laptop. It arrived packed in a clear plastic clamshell (not that indestructible packing stuff) like DDR ram comes in. Took all of a minute (probably more like 20 seconds) to install. WAs recognized in BIOS during boot, so once Windows 10 opened up I went into disk management, set up the SSD, cloned the OS using MiniTool Partition Magic, and then rebooted into the SSD. Boot time takes 13 seconds from off to perusing the int@rw3bs. I haven't run any speed/read/write tests, and honestly, I doubt my wife would care since she just wanted a quicker boot time. This SSD more than delivers that, and it does so at a very affordable price-point. In fact, I'm going to be ordering another for one of my other machines.
