The first book had a slow start, this one jumped right in, picking up where the last left off. I love how Nora develops and becomes independant, not completely reliant on Hunter. Yes, his departure is predictable, but I liked how the reunion went. I hate when the girl just forgives everything and isn't mad at the guy. I also liked Nora's relationship with Gray, which didn't seem super weird but developed in a way that when you find out the connection they have it's not like something that just gets thrown in randomly to make things more interesting.
